Peace Gods: The Values Behind How I Greet the World

If you've read anything I've written, you've probably noticed how I start and how I sign off.

I open with "Peace gods." I close with "Peace be still. Safe journeys to all."

Those aren't slogans. They're how I want people to feel when they meet my work.

Peace gods is a greeting rooted in the belief that everyone carries something divine and worth respecting. It sets the tone before a single idea is shared: I see you, and I come in peace.

Peace be still is a reminder to slow down. The creator world moves fast, and it's easy to lose yourself in the noise. Stillness is where clear thinking happens.

Safe journeys to all is my way of saying I'm rooting for you. Whether you're an artist, a founder, an influencer or a fan, you're on a path, and I hope it's a good one.

In a digital world full of arguments and hot takes, I'd rather lead with respect. It costs nothing and it changes the whole conversation.
